Dunking Chocolate Chip Cookies

If you don’t like to dunk your cookies at all, then these aren’t the cookie for you.  I do like soft and chewy cookies, but this afternoon I decided I wanted to make something similar to a biscuit cookie to take on a road trip to Minneapolis tomorrow.  I made the cookies in both mini muffin pans and typical cookie dough balls.


2 Cups unbleached Flour

2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

cinnamon (optional… many people just put a pinch in, but I love cinnamon so I put in at least half a teaspoon, maybe more depending on my mood)

Chocolate chips – any kind of vegan chocolate chips wil do, I used Enjoy life semi-sweet dairy, nut, and soy free chips.  I’d recommend using at least half of the bag, but you can put up to the whole 10 oz (which is what I usually d0).


In another bowl combine:

1 Cup raw (or your choice) of sugar

1/2 Cup Canola of Vegetable Oil (I’ve used olive oil before in this recipe, the batter does not stick as well)

1 tsp Vanilla extract

1/4 cup Water

Mix together both bowls, and form cookie dough into balls (or mini muffin pans!)

Cook in the oven at 350 for 10-13 minutes
