Falafel Friday

My roommates are gone for Easter break, I’m hanging out alone, and it’s been dark and rainy all day, so I decided to make something easy and watch Harry Potter all night.

I’ve had this box of Fantastic World Foods falafel mix in my pantry for almost a year.  I don’t use pre-made meals very often, but they definitely come in handy from time-to-time.

This meal is vaguely a cheap shot, since there wasn’t much of a recipe to follow to make this.

The falafel mix I bought from Fantastic World Foods:

I got it at my local supermarket in Minnesota, but it is sold mostly nation wide.

In an Arnold’s Whole Wheat “Fill ’ems” I put a squirt of ground dijon and yellow mustard then popped the falafel balls into them.

I followed the recipe on the Fantastic Foods for simmering them in vegetable oil, but I used olive oil instead, because I am out of vegetable oil- then put them in the oven to broil for 2 minutes to brown them up a little bit.

It was still extremely tasty.

Nom Nom.
